Whether you enjoy cycling for exercise or simply like to enjoy the scenery from your bike, there are plenty of opportunities to cycle safely in Wollongong, and neighbouring Shellharbour and Kiama.
Wollongong boasts a continually expanding cycleway system that takes advantage of the city's many beautiful parks and scenic locations. The cycleway currently stretches over 42km; from Bulli in the North, to Windang in the South.
Wollongong City Council builds and maintains all the cycleways around the city.
