Stretching along 60km of beautiful coastline, Wollongong's foreshore parks offer some of the best recreational areas along the coast. Featuring BBQ and picnic areas, regional playground facilities, large grassy open space areas and spectacular coastal views, the variety of park facilities ensure an enjoyable visit to the Illawarra.

Wollongong Botanic Garden
The Wollongong Botanic Garden is situated in Keiraville, bounded by Murphys Avenue, Robsons Road and Northfields Avenue. The picturesque 22 hectare garden features a dazzling array of plant specimens, from both tropic and temperate regions. Find out more by following the links on the right.
Over 200,000 people visit the botanic garden each year to admire features such as the rose garden, the azalea bank and the Illawarra rainforest. The garden is an ideal location for wedding ceremonies. Bookings are available throughout the year.
The garden's education centre also provides regular educational forums and exciting school holiday activities for the children.
