Proposal to alter the suburb boundary between North Wollongong and Fairy Meadow

Council is currently assessing a proposal to alter the suburb boundary between North Wollongong and Fairy Meadow and is seeking submissions on this proposal.

The proposal is to move the boundary between North Wollongong and Fairy Meadow, so as to include the University of Wollongong Innovation Campus as well as the public land bounded by Squires Way, Elliotts Road and Fairy Creek (commonly known as Puckeys Estate), in the suburb of North Wollongong rather than Fairy Meadow.

Maps showing this proposal is on the right and will also be available for viewing by the public at Wollongong City and Corrimal Libraries.

The closing date for submissions was 15 October 2008.
