Nyrang Park

Nyrang Park is a much loved community asset, used primarily for passive recreation purposes. It has a mix of open space and treed areas, and is a haven for local biodiversity. The Park also performs an important stormwater management function.

On Sunday 5 April 2009 Council held a community kiosk at the Park from 10am until 12 noon. At the Kiosk residents went on a tour of the Park, chatted to Council staff regarding the future maintenance and management of the park and completed a survey.  A copy of the Nyrang Park Flyer to the right was sent to residents in the local area.

A Frequently Asked Question sheet is also available on the right which provides more information about the stormwater management function of the park and how you can become more involved in the park's future plans.

Residents had until 17 April 2009 to return the completed survey to Council.
