Draft Strategic Directions 2009-12 and Draft Management Plan 2009-12

Wollongong City Council's draft Strategic Directions 2009-12 and draft Management Plan 2009-12 are currently on public exhibition until Wednesday 27 May 2009.

Wollongong City Council is getting back to basics with a draft management plan that places a priority on providing value for money services and increases the amount we spend on updating roads, buildings, footpaths, parks and basic community infrastructure.

This year the community can also have their say on a new document called draft Strategic Directions 2009-12, which informs the draft Management Plan 2009-12 by setting goals to guide our budget, priorities and services over the next three years.

The community is encouraged to view these documents and have their say on the future directions for Wollongong, as well as the projects, budget and services we plan to deliver over the next three years.

How can you obtain a copy?
You can obtain a copy of Council's draft Strategic Directions 2009-12 and draft Management Plan 2009-12:

Council is also hosting community engagement kiosks across the city to discuss the draft plans, answer questions and obtain community feedback.
