Draft Wollongong Development Control Plan (DCP) 2009
Council would like community feedback on the draft Wollongong Development Control Plan (DCP) 2009 which is currently on exhibition. The draft Wollongong DCP is a two (2) volume document that provides planning requirements for all development within the Wollongong Local Government Area (LGA). Land in the West Dapto Release Area and the Dapto Town Centre are not included in this plan.

The draft Wollongong DCP can be viewed in the related documents to the right of this page.
A free CD of the draft DCP can be obtained from Council’s Customer Service Centre or by sending postal details to the Land Use Planning Team.
A print copy of the draft Wollongong DCP 2009 can be viewed at:
- Customer Service Centre on the ground level of Council’s Administration Building, 41 Burelli Street, Wollongong
- Council libraries located at Wollongong, Helensburgh, Thirroul, Bulli, Corrimal, Unanderra, Warrawong, and Dapto.
Information sessions
A number of information sessions on the draft DCP have been arranged for community members to attend. Council staff will be available to discuss and answer any questions on the draft Wollongong DCP 2009.
