Southern Suburbs Skate and Youth Recreation Space

During April 2009 Council sought the community's views on the preferred location and style of a new skate park / youth recreation space to be built in the southern suburbs of Wollongong in 2011. Resident had the opportunity to have their say by completing a survey or visiting an the information kiosk at Westfield Warrawong on Thursday 16 April, 2009.

Surveys were also available from Extreme Sport in Market Street Wollongong. The closing date for the surveys was Wednesday, 22 April.

Council has provided copies of the surveys to schools across the southern suburbs of Wollongong.
