Print this Page

Under the NSW Government's Floodplain Development Manual (2005), a Floodplain Risk Management Committee is required to assist Council's in the development and implementation of Floodplain Risk Management Plans across their respective Local Government Areas.  Floodplain Risk Management Committees have been formed to oversee this process for the Minnegang Creek, Mullet and Brooks  Creeks, Lake Illawarra and Duck Creek catchments. Council will run combined committee meetings for these southern catchments in 2017.
