What is the Social Plan?
Wollongong City Council Social Plan 2007-11 isa five year plan that aims to address social issues facing people who live, work and play across the LGA these includes issues such as safety, services and facilities and culture.

Social Plan Annual Status Report 2007-08
Council is committed to reporting on the implementation of the Social Plan on an annual basis. So far we’ve commenced approximately 80% of strategies in the Social Plan. We’ve developed a report highlighting some of the actions delivered from the Plan during 2007-08, and detailed our directions for the year ahead.
