Greenplan
Greenplan is a Council initiative to encourage the beautification and greening of the City of Wollongong. Greenplan provides a wide range of ground covers, grasses, trees and shrubs indigenous to the Wollongong area. Plants are available to Wollongong City Council ratepayers with an annual opportunity to purchase them at a minimal cost.
- 140mm pots - $5.50 each
- 200mm pots - $8 each
Specialty items may be available with prices as marked
Limit is 25 plants per property each financial year. These plants can be purchased with cash, cheque or EFTPOS (except American Express) or cheque, from the Botanic Garden nursery on the third Friday of every month from 7.30am and 2.30pm (excluding public holidays). A receipt will be supplied.

On Greenplan Sale Days ratepayers may purchase up to 50 plants per property at prices as marked until stocks last. Residents can pay by cash, cheque or EFTPOS (no American Express accepted).
Please ensure you bring your rates notice to every plant sale day as a proof of Wollongong City Council residency.
Worm farms and compost bins are available to purchase from the Greenplan Nursery on any third Friday of the month or on Greenplan Sale Days. Worm farms are $68.20 and compost bins are $32.50. These prices are correct for the 2009-10 financial year.
