 Author Talk: Dan Meehan
The Power of Stones - book cover

Dan Meehan is a newly published writer who came to writing late in life. Having grown up in Wollongong, Dan left school at 15 and lived in Port Kembla for 22 years. He writes historical novels that are based in fact and weaves family history into Australian culture.

Join us to hear Dan talk about his latest novel, The Power of Stones, which explains a Wollongong family's beginnings in colonial Australia and tells the story of Stan Meehan, whom doctors said 'was the finest specimen' of the Wollongong recruits to enlist in World War One, marched into a dreadful war.
