Wollongong Youth Services
Wollongong Youth Services is a generalist youth service and has a focus on community development, capacity building and connecting young people with the services, support and opportunities which best meet their individual needs. These include education, training and employment, relationship breakdown, homelessness, drug and alcohol support needs, mental health needs, social inclusion and more.
Current Events and Activities
All activities are generally free and designed for young people aged 12-24 years (unless otherwise specified).
School Holiday Activities
Wollongong Youth Services will be celebrating 25 years these School Holidays. To celebrate there are heaps of activities to get involved with.
|Youth Centre Open Day

|The Music for the Mind Concert
||Friday 12 October, starts 6pm
There will also be regular Hang Out sessions where you can have fun with basketball, pool, table tennis foosball or just relax with friends (12 – 18 years). Tuesdays: 1pm – 4pm, Thursdays 3pm – 8pm and Saturdays 1 - 4pm.

I love Wollongong because...panel project
'I love Wollongong because...' invites young people to capture what they love about Wollongong in an image and submit it to be part of a public exhibition at Wollongong Youth Centre.
Information Support and referral
Youth Services Staff are available to help connect young people with the services and opportunities to meet their needs. Our staff take time to listen, understanding and help young people explore their options. We provide information, support and referral in a wide range of areas including recreational, drug and alcohol, support groups, mental health, accommodation, employment and training and more.
Staff are available at Wollongong Youth Centre or by phoning (02) 4227 8222 Monday to Friday 10am – 5pm and Saturday 1pm-4pm.

The Youth Centre facilities are available for bookings by service providers (fees may apply):
- auditorium (300 person capacity, stage, lighting, PA)
