The Strides

The Strides embodies Reggae power. Led by roots man Ras Roni, Fijian MC LTL GZeus, and Sierra Leonean ragga powerhouse Blacker C, they offer an explosive, authentic musical blend of classic roots reggae with hip-hop nuances, their sound fuses dance hall, dub beats, and reggae-pop.
Noriko Tadano with Wadaiko Rindo Taiko Drumming

Wadaiko Rindo is a dynamic taiko ensemble dedicated to sharing the powerful rhythms and rich cultural heritage of traditional Japanese taiko drumming. Since 2010, the team has been captivating audiences with their powerful and energetic performances.
Joined by Noriko Tadano, Winner of Australian Folk Musician of the Year 2025, Noriko is an ever-evolving creative force who continues to take her Japanese music to places few have ventured. She’s a virtuoso of the Japanese shamisen and traditional Japanese vocalist, who regularly performs internationally.
Rossella Fanelli and Santino Salvadore

Rossella with her powerful and sultry voice and Santino with his incredible guitar creative flair have been delighting the Australian audiences for the past 10 years, with Italian traditional songs rearranged in a modern pop and swing twist.
Victor Valdes Mexican Trio

Immerse yourself in the captivating realm of Mexican music with Victor Valdes, a vibrant presence in Australia’s World Music scene. Get ready for an unforgettable performance filled with Mariachi, Boleros, Banda, Son Jarocho, and cumbia, as Valdes and his Mariachi trio transport you to the lively essence of Mexico’s rich musical tradition.
Sindu from Putri Ayu Indonesia Dance Group

Sindu of the Putri Ayu Indonesia Dance Group will captivate audiences with a striking solo performance that fuses contemporary movement with the rich artistry of Indonesian dance. Her piece weaves tradition and innovation into a mesmerising expression of rhythm, grace, and cultural storytelling—offering a powerful glimpse into Indonesia’s heritage through a modern lens.
Sacana Nation

Hailing from five different countries, Sacana Nation is a band that embraces the power of music to bridge gaps and create a harmonious celebration of cultures. Featuring an Italian accordionist, Swiss drummer, Portuguese guitarist, Mexican bass player and singer, and Colombian vocalist, the band brings together diverse influences and vibrant energy on one stage. Playing styles ranging from Latin to reggae to gypsy swing, Sacana Nation will take you on a musical journey where borders disappear and the language of music reigns supreme — inviting audiences to move, groove, and dance along to their vibrant modern Latin tunes.
Washing Machine DJs

Washing Machine put on dance parties around the Illawarra, predominantly using DIY spaces. As DJs, they lean into everything from leftfield disco and romantic house to dubbed-out heaters and balearic heartbreakers - whatever the mood requires.
Pop Up and Roving Performances

Tayvin Martins
Tayvin Martins is a local musician whose vocal style blends modern country and blues grit, paired with chilled guitar vibes that evoke a cosy campfire session. Catch Tayvin popping up for various sets throughout the event precinct, bringing warm, easy-going energy wherever he plays.
Jazz Bugs
Dressed head-to-toe in giant neon ladybug suits, this crew brings high-energy horns, banging drums, and main character energy wherever they go. They strut. They glow. They make toddlers dance and teenagers film them for TikTok.
