Making Good Use of AI: a Workshop for Seniors
Tuesday 10 March 2026, 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
During Get Oline Week in October last year, Living Connected held several Introduction to AI Sessions which were extremely popular. This workshop is a follow up to provide more practice on using AI apps.
Participants are asked to bring their phone or other device and will be encouraged to install ChatGPT or other free AI apps. After a brief overview of AI, participants will be guided on clever ways of using the app. They could ask AI to compose emails, letters, or summaries; explore new topics or languages; plan travel or shopping lists; translate languages.
Some may already have done this and want to try something more advanced; others may just want to watch. How far they go depends on them.
We will end with a discussion on the benefits, risks and implications of using AI tools.
