Spin Youth Photography Competition

Photography Competition for Primary and Secondary Students

We’re welcoming the world to Wollongong this September. As the world’s best cyclists compete right here in the UCI Road World Championships, we’re rolling out the fun with Spin Fest – a community celebration with something for everyone.

We're inviting students across the state to get involved in Spin Fest by entering Wollongong Art Gallery's Spin photography competition.

Theme

The theme of this competition is 'Spin'. We are looking for original, thought-provoking photography. We love seeing striking imagery that excels at storytelling and allows us to see you interpret the theme in your photography practice. The 'Spin' theme can be broad. Entries do not have to be related to cycling. Think about the word spin and the many meanings it has associated with it. What makes you spin? Can you capture the act of spinning or twirling something? There are many possibilities, and we would love to see them!
