Pool Booking FAQs

When your booking is confirmed, you’ll get an email with details you need to know before you swim.

We’ve also included answers to some common questions below.

If you have a question not covered here, please call our Customer Service team on (02) 4227 7111 during business hours.

Bookings have been put in place to help us support social distancing, meet COVID-safe guidelines, and provide fair and equal access to our pools across the busy summer period.

Bookings are in two-hour blocks. You must leave the pool by 15 minutes before the end of your block. This is so we have time to clean the pool area before the next lot of bookings starts.

For example, if you book the 10am – 12pm slot, you must leave by 11.45am at the latest. If you turn up at 10.30am, you still need to leave the pool by 11.45am.

You can arrive any time during your booked session.

However, to make the most of your swim time we suggest not arriving too late as the last 15 minutes of every session will be used by the lifeguards to clean the pool for the next guests.

You can book up to one week ahead.

Each Monday we will open bookings for the following week. If the date you want isn’t showing up yet, please check back again on the next Monday.

Booking is free.

If you’re going to Beaton Park, Corrimal or Dapto Heated Pool, you’ll have to pay the entry fee when you get to the pool.

There is no entry fee at our other pools.

This is just pre-set wording in our booking system. Don’t worry, you won’t be charged or asked to enter any payment details.

Yes. You can book for multiple people as long as there are enough spaces available in the time slot.

There will be a limit on the number of people allowed at the pool at one time, and this will be different for each pool. The online system will only accept bookings up to this maximum number.

Please note, everyone in your group booking needs to arrive and enter the pool at the same time.

No. Bookings apply to anyone coming to the pool, whether they’re swimming laps, splashing around, or just watching.

Please note, the Continental Pool is currently open for lap swimming only.

Yes. If you have a season pass or pre-paid pass for Corrimal or Dapto Heated Pools, you will still need to book each time you want to swim.

Then just use your pass as normal each time you visit.

No. We don’t have a wait-list, but you can check back regularly to see if spaces have become available.

You can swim without a booking before 10am on weekdays.

At all other times, we strongly recommend you book ahead.

If you turn up at the pool and a space is available, you will still need to provide your details and get booked in on the spot before you can enter the pool.

If you need to cancel or change a booking, call Customer Service on (02) 4227 7111 (9am – 5pm weekdays only).

You can also email us, but please note that it may take us longer to get back to you by email.

If you’re not going to be able to make your booked time, make sure you call us to cancel so you can continue to make bookings for the swim season!

See the ‘How do I cancel or change a booking?’ section above for details of how to tell us if you can’t make your booking.

This is to encourage people to ‘swim and go’, and to reduce points of contact in line with NSW Health advice.

We’ll continue to monitor government advice, and will let you know if this rule changes in future.
