Library After Hours - low sensory visits

Library After Hours is a monthly program that invites families and persons living with autism to experience the library in a low-sensory way.

Each month, Corrimal or Wollongong Library will host Library After Hours. Whether you want to participate in an activity, borrow a book, or just use the space and hang out, our libraries will be dimming their lights, reducing noise, and bringing out sensory items for you to experience.

To see when the next Library After Hours is happening, head to our events calendar.

This is an opportunity to socialise with other persons living with autism in a welcoming, judgement-free space suitable for the whole family.

We encourage anyone looking to come to the Library After Hours program to let us know how we can best accommodate you during this time - if there's a certain game you would like to play, a favourite topic you would like us to show you, or if you have any questions, we're here to help. When booking, let us know how we can help, and what you're interested in.

Please note: this event may be photographed. If you would not like your photograph taken, please let us know when purchasing your ticket and at the library.
