We recognise and pay tribute to the men and women who have served Australia in our various defence forces. This includes those who served in past or recent conflicts, and during peacetime.
Our Ex-Services Wall and Gardens hold a place of honour at Wollongong Memorial Gardens, surrounding the flagpole that bears the Australian flag. This area is available for placing the cremated remains of people who served our country, and their spouse or partner.
Options are also available to add a vase and / or military emblem to plaques placed in this section.
As well as providing a lasting tribute to ex-services personnel, this site is a focal point for reflection on special occasions such as Anzac Day, Veteran's Day and Remembrance Day.
