Training and competition fees waived
To support of our community and local sporting groups, we waived training and competition fees at our 220 sportsgrounds across the city between 1 July and 31 December 2021.
By waiving these fees, we provided direct financial assistance to our local sporting clubs, many of which are volunteer-run and operate on a tight budget.
This also helped more people take part in sport and COVID-safe outdoor activities as Public Health Orders eased.
Please note, fee waivers only applied to training and standard competition. Fees still applied to coaching clinics and academies.
