Council closes playspaces and skateparks
Wollongong City Council has closed all its playspaces and skateparks from 8pm today, Sunday 29 March 2020.
We have more than 145 playspaces and 5 skateparks across the city. Council staff will continue to maintain the playgrounds and parks during the closure.
We will continue to review and respond to updated advice in reference to coronavirus and we are proactively applying a community-oriented, risk-based approach to the delivery of our services during this time.
We ask everyone to support, and follow, the latest Federal and State Government advice so that we can work together and help each other.
