Recharge between races in the city's Arts Precinct. 

As the world's best cyclists compete right here in Wollongong, we're celebrating with Spin Fest - a free program of events and entertainment around our city.

Spin Fest Interactive Arts + Community Day

Stop by the Arts Precinct on Saturday 24 Sept to experience a taste of Wollongong's diverse and creative community. There's plenty of fun on offer:

  • Interactive Creative Market: Hands-on fun for kids and adults, including sculpture making, comic drawing, pottery, flag making, mindful creativity with Nan Tien Temple staff and more!
  • Junk Yard Rascals creative play space, and Forces Science Show with Quill Darby.
  • Multicultural Performances: There's something for everyone from hip hop, to Bollywood with Electric Korma.
  • Recharge between races: Grab lunch from a nearby cafe, and lounge in a deck chair on the grass.
  • Disability Trust Art Installations: Explore artworks created by young people from the Disability Trust, including featured artist JJ who has created a series of sculptures using discarded cycling materials.

This event is free, and suitable for all ages.
