Final stages for Fowlers Road to Fairwater Drive link road

We have reached the final stages of work for the Fowlers Road to Fairwater Drive Link project.

During the next few weeks, some of this work will take place at night, during extended weekday hours and on weekends if required. Night works, if required, will take place between 8pm and 5am. The work schedule is subject to weather and site conditions. Council will place on-site electronic message boards to keep the community updated.

Night works include asphalting along Princes Highway and Fowlers Road in Dapto and on Fairwater Drive and Daisy Bank Drive in Horsley. Council will install new traffic control signals at the Princes Highway/Fowlers Road and Fairwater Drive/Daisy Bank Drive intersections.

There will be temporary road closures for night works at Fairwater Drive and Daisy Bank Drive in Horsley. These roads will remain open to traffic during the day. When the roads are closed, traffic will be detoured via Bong Bong Road. Also there will be changed traffic conditions at Princes Highway and Fowlers Road in Dapto.

Council will also construct a concrete median on Yorkshire Road at the Fowlers Road intersection. For this work, there will be a temporary road closure. Traffic will be detoured via Kent Road.
