If you're looking for books in other languages not listed above, please ask our library staff for help. We may be able to get books for you from the collections of other libraries. LOTE for Kids
LOTE for Kids is an eResource that supports language learning for children. Thousands of kids books are available in over 50 languages. They can be presented in the language you select and English with an Australian accent.
Newspapers
The library has newspapers in several community languages so you can keep up to date with news from around the world. You can't borrow newspapers, but you're welcome to read them while you're in the library.
You can also access online newspapers and magazines from 97 countries in 54 languages through the State Library of NSW. You can access all these resources with your Wollongong City Libraries membership.
These resources can also be accessed using the PressReader app which can be downloaded from Google Play (Android) or App Store (Apple).

Request multicultural items from State Library of NSW
You can ask to borrow a box of items from the State Library of NSW in languages other than English, or to help improve your English skills. This is a free service for library members.
