Every year a picture book, written and illustrated by an Australian author and illustrator, is read simultaneously in libraries, schools, pre-schools, childcare centres, family homes and bookshops around the country, with more than 2.3 million people participating across 21, 000 locations.

This year's book is The Truck Cat by Deborah Frenkel, illustrated by Danny Snell. This heartwarming story follows a truck-driving cat and his human as they navigate themes of immigration, identity, and the search for home.

Join us at Corrimal, Dapto, Helensburgh, Thirroul, Unanderra, Warrawong or Wollongong libraries for a fun-filled and memorable storytime with songs and craft.
