Location and contact

Using Wollongong Library

Parking is available in the Council Administration Building. Enter from Stewart Street. Parking fees of $1 per hour (for up to two hours) apply between 9am and 5pm weekdays. On weekends parking is free and un-timed.

On-street parking may also be available in the surrounding area. See the Parking in the City Centre page on Council's website for more information.

Public transport

There is a bus stop in front of the Library building on Burelli Street.

Wollongong Train Station is approximately 1km, or a 15 minute walk away.

Building access

Wollongong Library is on street level, and has no steps to enter the ground floor. There is lift access to the first floor of the library.

Toilets

An accessible toilet is available within the Council building, on the ground floor near the library entrance.

Wollongong Library has three study rooms that are free to use.

Study rooms cannot be used for meetings, paid tutoring or commercial activities.

Call or visit the library to book a room.

The library is also home to the Library Theatrette and The Lab, which can be booked for events. Conditions apply.
