Meet Marbles, a friendly and loving adult cat who's all about affection and companionship. She has a heartwarming presence that draws everyone in and is the perfect choice for a family-oriented home.

Marbles absolutely adores being held and is happiest when nestled in your arms, making her the perfect companion for a pampering night in. Her sweet nature and gentle demeanour make her an excellent fit for households with children. She'll bring immense joy to youngsters as she becomes their loving playmate and confidante.

Her love for communication is charmingly endearing. Marbles is quite the conversationalist, and she will happily chat with you, offering delightful little meows to keep the conversation going. Her vocal nature ensures that you'll never feel alone with her around, as she makes sure her presence is always known.

If you're looking for a furry friend who loves being in the company of family and enjoys sharing affectionate moments together, Marbles is waiting to become a cherished member of your household.

Marbles was initially diagnosed with a rodent ulcer on the upper lip, which was chosen to be investigated to rule out neoplasia before adoption. Histopathology of this tissue sample reveals that the lip lesion is inflammatory in origin and suggests an underlying allergic / hypersensitivity component which has become secondarily complicated by bacterial infection, possible with recurrent self-trauma (ie. Licking). There is no evidence of neoplastic disease.

This means that this will unfortunately be a lifelong condition for little Marbles, as it is the result of an overreacting immune system. However, this can be well managed through a sensitivity diet and Depo Medrol injections when required (upon flare ups). A future owner of Marbles will need to make sure they keep a close eye on this condition to prevent further trauma to the area.
