Please note, our outdoor spaces, including beaches and parks, are alcohol-free areas and cannot be hired for wedding receptions.

Wedding photography

Wollongong makes a stunning backdrop for wedding photography.

Some of our most popular photography locations include the harbour and lighthouse, Wollongong Botanic Garden, Bald Hill Reserve, and our many beaches.

You generally don’t need permission or a booking to take wedding photos in public spaces across Wollongong. We just ask that you don’t disturb other people enjoying these areas.
