Let us know if you find anything in our parks or gardens that needs attention.

Visit our Report an Issue page or call us on (02) 4227 7111.

Our parks, gardens and beaches are a great outdoor option for a wedding or commitment ceremony. We have spaces for intimate groups, large gatherings and everything in between.

Please note, our outdoor spaces are alcohol-free areas and can only be hired for ceremonies, not receptions. See the 'Hire a park or garden' section of this page for more details about bookings, and the conditions that apply.

See our Wedding Venues page for more spaces available for weddings, including the Botanic Garden, Art Gallery and community centres.

Below are details for some popular gardens and outdoor spaces in the Wollongong Area that aren’t managed by Council:

Camping is not allowed in most of our parks, gardens, and foreshore areas.

Check for signs which will explain any activities that are not permitted. Council Rangers patrol these areas, and can issue fines to people who camp illegally in public spaces.
