Adult Migrant English Program (AMEP) students are eligible to be matched with a volunteer Tutor from the community to assist with settlement in Australia. Volunteer English Tutors are trained volunteers. After training is completed, we match Tutors with one of our AMEP migrant students.
The learner and volunteer Tutor meet one-on-one somewhere convenient in the community, such as a coffee shop or library, once a week for at least one hour to help improve their English and understand Australian culture.
