Revolve Centre Statement

The Revolve Centre at the Wollongong Waste and Resource Recovery Park – or Whyte’s Gully – is closed for essential works.

The closure has not affected the Community Recycling Centre or access to the tip via the weigh bridge, and both remain open.

Community members can still drop off items like e-waste, metal, cardboard and motor oil and have full access to the Community Recycling Centre, and can still dispose of landfill items which can not be reused or recycled.

The critical works are being undertaken proactively and focus on supporting the ongoing safety and wellbeing of staff and customers at this site. The team are working to get the work completed as soon as possible. At this stage, we do not have a timeframe for reopening.
