City of Wollongong
Stuart Park Playground

Stuart Park is one of our most popular regional playgrounds, a short distance from the City Centre and North Beach.

Climb the 8.6m high Sky Tower, with three giant tube slides. There are also two flying foxes, swings, a cubby house, sound bells, and other fun features to explore.

Bring your bike, skateboard or scooter to explore the pathways around the play equipment.

All Ages All Abilities Playground

Stuart Park includes the All Ages All Abilities Playground. Stage 1 of this exciting space opened in December 2023.

While this playground is for everyone, it was inspired by and built for adults with disability. See the 'Playground features' section below for more information.

This project is jointly funded by the Australian Government, the NSW Government, Wollongong City Council and community and business supporters.
