Free parking is available on-site. The centre is a 50m or 1-minute walk from the nearest bus stop. It is 140m to Thirroul train station.

About Thirroul District Community Centre
Thirroul District Community Centre is a well-equipped, multipurpose centre suited to a wide variety of community, private and business uses including meetings, group fitness, staff training, concerts, exhibitions, social clubs, functions and more.
Built in 2009, the award-winning centre is located in the southern end of Thirroul shopping village. The centre features flexible spaces including a large hall, five meeting rooms and an office space available for low-cost regular or occasional hire year-round.
The centre also hosts a wide variety of regular programs and activities open to the public, and is home to Thirroul Library.
This fully accessible and air-conditioned centre is managed by Wollongong City Council.
