Recycling - Get it Sorted

Recycling is about seeing the value of resources in waste, collecting resources and using technology to recreate products. Recycling is also about closing the loop and looking for sustainable opportunities which protect our environment for the future.
Students will:
- Play a packaging game that will highlight what is environmentally sustainable
- Watch a short clip on what our Council recycles
- Carry out experiments and hypothesize about plastic not recycled and its impact on the environment
- Participate in a waste audit of their lunch boxes and ask questions about waste management
