Help us make Wollongong an extraordinary place.
We're updating our city's plans for the next few years. And we want to make those plans with you.
These plans will help shape all our lives, every day: from your bins getting picked up to the library books you're reading, the playgrounds and sportsgrounds you visit, or the places you walk, ride your bike or drive.
Listening to our community and updating our plans gives us the chance to respond to changing needs and circumstances. The effects of intense weather and climate change are just some of things we need to adapt and respond to. Our population, the way we live, and the mix of businesses in our city, are all changing too - and our plans need to adjust to keep in front of these changes.

How to view the draft plans and give feedback
The above plans are open for feedback from 22 April to 19 May 2026.
Visit the Let's Talk Wollongong website to read the plans and share your thoughts.
What happens next?
We will review everyone's feedback and consider if we need to make any changes to the draft Delivery Program and Operational Plan.
Feedback and any proposed changes will be presented to Council, who will then finalise and adopt the Delivery Program and Operational Plan at the Council meeting on 29 June 2026. Once this happens, the Delivery Program and Operational Plan become the guide for all the work Council does to serve our community.
