Australia Day 2026: Accessibility
Accessible Viewing Area
We've reserved an Accessible Viewing Area for people with disabilities and access requirements to have front row seats to watch the fireworks at our Australia Day event.
The Accessible Viewing Area will provide amenities within close reach, performances from roving entertainers and a special visit from the PAWS Pet Therapy Dogs.
Bookings for reserved accessible parking have now closed, but there will be a drop-off and pick-up point for attendees who are not assigned reserved parking.
Please use the button below to book the Accessible Viewing Area and let us know about your drop-off needs. This form will be open until midnight, Wednesday 21 January 2026.
Exiting accessible parking
Please note, due to the large number of people attending our Australia Day event, it may take some time to exit the accessible parking area. Please allow extra time, be patient and follow Police and Traffic Control directions to make sure you leave the event area safely.
Accessible drop-off and pick-up area
There will be a dedicated accessible drop-off and pick-up zone for this event on Endeavour Drive. You can download our Road Closure map PDF, 1069.55 KB for location information.
Please note:
- Accessible drop-off will be available between 4pm and 8pm.
- You don't need to book to use this area.
- There is no parking in the drop-off area. Please allow enough time to drop-off, then park elsewhere and make your way back to the event area.
- Accessible pick-up on Endeavour Drive will be made available after the event, once pedestrian traffic eases as people leave the area. Delays can be expected.
Quiet Tent

The event also offers a Quiet Tent with sensory activities. This is a great space where you can take a break and relax during the event. The Quiet Tent will be near the corner of Cliff Road and Marine Drive.
