Scope includes but not limited to the following services to be provided by the consultant: • Project familiarisation; • Ongoing consultation with WCC; • Stakeholder engagement with service providers as required (services authorities and government authorities); • Review and formalisation of the preferred alignment with WCC; • Detailed geotechnical investigation; • Archaeological investigation due diligence assessment • Survey of utility services; • Design and documentation of all components for the 50% submission. • Detailed design and documentation of new sharepath including: a. all associated footpath and road structures; b. Boardwalk section/s; c. New road alignment d. utility services; • Detailed stormwater drainage design; • Road Safety Audit; • Incorporation of WCC provided landscaping plan into sharepath design; • Detailed environmental investigation including REF and all required approvals; • Incorporate environmental management requirements into the detailed design and construction documents; • Utilise pavement design developed by WCC (provided after geotechnical investigation); • Detailed design reports for 20%, 50%, 80%, and 100% design completion stages; • Attend and minute fortnightly meetings; • Present design at 20%, 50%, 80%, and 100% design review meetings; • Provide Value Engineering services where appropriate to ensure an economic and efficient design; • Prepare and supply tender documentation, including detail design drawings, technical specification, schedule of quantities and constructability review report; • Prepare and Provide Issue for Construction; • Construction cost estimates prepared by a Quantity Surveyor.
