About the Centre

The centre was built in 1992 and is nestled in bushland next to Stanwell Avenue Reserve. The centre has one large room available for hire with a fenced outdoor area. This venue is suitable for all small meetings, functions and celebrations, including children's parties. The centre is fully accessible.

Stanwell Park Children's Centre is 600m or an 11 minute to the nearest bus stop. It is 1.6km to Stanwell Park Train Station.

Notice of Proposed Lease

Council is proposing to grant a new Lease for Stanwell Park Children’s Centre for the provision of long day care services to the local community. The proposed term of the lease is for a period of ten years, commencing 1 January 2026 to 31 December 2035.

The tender for the lease of Stanwell Park Children’s Centre has now closed. Council staff are assessing submissions and working towards a report being presented to Council on 15 September 2025.

To maintain confidentiality during the tender, Council staff will not be able to provide further information until after the report is considered by Council.
