We have six creative studio spaces right next to Wollongong’s Arts Precinct in the Town Hall building. These are available on a residency basis at affordable rates for local artists.
Resident artists take part in tours, workshops and talks, and events.

Work by our current Artists in Residence will feature in an exhibition called Connections at Wollongong Art Gallery from Friday 4 April – Sunday 27 April 2025.
Connections will showcase photography, print making, painting, sculpture, textiles and weaving produced during the artists' 12-month residency. The exhibition will explore the different layers of connections through people, origin, science, stories and play.
