Dunecare

Dunecare volunteers work on our beach dunes to:

  • Plant suitable native shrubs and grasses to reduce erosion
  • Help control weeds
  • Remove rubbish
  • Enhance our beaches’ natural ecosystems.

The Dunecare program supports Council’s work to manage dunes and also helps our lifeguards and surf clubs.

Group locations and meeting times can be found on our Bushcare page.
