Community Gardens are run by not-for-profit groups and produce fresh, local food.
They also provide a great opportunity for you to learn new gardening skills and meet your neighbours.
Council is not currently taking applications for new community gardens. We are reviewing our Community Gardens Policy, and the application process and procedures for Community Gardens.
In the meantime, there are several existing community gardens which you can join, and new volunteers are always welcome. Joining an existing group is also a great way to learn from people who are already running successful community gardens.
