Disposable nappies have a big impact on our environment. They can take over 400 years to start breaking down in landfill.
Using cloth nappies is an environmentally friendly alternative, and it doesn't have to be hard.
Reusable nappies
Modern cloth nappies and reusable swim nappies are effective and easy to use, and easy to clean. Home washed nappies use less energy and resources than any other nappy system and mean less waste going to landfill. Switching to cloth nappies can also be cheaper than using disposables in the long run.
If going 'full cloth' is too much for you, try swapping just a couple of nappies each day. Even that will make a big difference to your disposable nappy impact.
