Sportsgrounds and COVID-19
Clubs and local sports associations using our sportsgrounds must follow current NSW Public Health Orders and have a COVID-19 safety plan for participants, volunteers and spectators.

We look after many sportsgrounds across our city.
We don't like closing sportsgrounds, but sometimes we need to for maintenance, events, or when play in wet weather could damage the surface. Clubs may also decide to cancel activities, even if Council hasn't closed grounds. Check with your sports club if you need to confirm whether play is going ahead.
