Not All Disabilities are Visible

A Local Stories Project

For International Day of People with Disability 2020, we collected stories from local people with a hidden disability.

This project aims to raise awareness that not all disabilities are immediately visible or apparent. It’s a chance to celebrate the achievements of people with disability and increase our understanding of some of the issues they face.

We thank the people who shared their stories and reflections as part of this project.

We acknowledge the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the Land any pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging.

This project is a collaboration between Wollongong City Council and Shellharbour City Council.
