Cycling Champions Advisory Group

The Cycling Champions Advisory Group has been created to support Council in preparing for and hosting the 2022 UCI Road World Championships in Wollongong, and to support the roll-out of the Wollongong Cycling Strategy.

Members of the group will give input into Council's planning and promotion for this major sporting event. This will help us maximise the opportunities and benefits of the event for our city's businesses and residents.

Cycling Technical Advisory Group

The Cycling Technical Advisory Group provides Council with detailed technical feedback to help us plan for new cycling infrastructure. This could include things like local bike tracks, learn to ride facilities, bike racks, storage and water stations.

The group may also give input into Council's cycling-related projects, such as the Cringila Hills Recreation and Mountain Bike Park.
