Overseeing growth in West Dapto is the biggest and longest-running project Council has ever undertaken. Our work in West Dapto includes:

Public transport

The NSW Government is responsible for planning public transport for West Dapto. However, Council is working closely with Transport for NSW as they plan for this important service.

As new neighbourhoods are developed, existing bus routes will be reviewed and updated to better meet the needs of new residents.

Schools in West Dapto

Planning and building public schools in West Dapto is managed by the NSW Government.

The NSW Government has announced a new public primary school and a co-located preschool to be built in Wongawilli near Shone Avenue.

Council will work with the NSW Government as they plan for future schooling needs as West Dapto continues to grow.
