Mobile Food Vending Trial

We are starting a trial to let mobile food vendors trade at selected locations on public land that's owned or managed by Council.

The trial will run over summer 2021-2022 for up to 12 months.

How to be part of the trial

If you run a mobile food business and would like to be part of this trial, you will need to apply through an open Expression of Interest (EOI) process. To learn more or apply, visit Council's Tenderlink Portal.

If your application is approved, you must operate in line with Council's Draft Mobile Food Vending Policy PDF, 541.82 KB and conditions of a Section 68 Approval.

We'll provide more details directly to successful applicants.

During the trial we are also seeking feedback on the Draft Mobile Food Vending Policy PDF, 541.82 KB which explains how mobile food businesses will operate during this trial.
